The Author has been a musician for most of his life and has performed in many venues throughout his life. Born in 1954 In Miami Florida his Parents Mr. Rufus and Alberta McKenzie Chandler. He is the second oldest of five children. He perhaps picked up his musical genes from his deceased father, a historical blues artist. Rufus’s works can now be viewed or purchased on Apple iTunes. Bernard was also influenced by his deceased brother Rufus Mckenzie Jr., a gifted poet. Some of his works have been included in this book. Dr. Bernard Mckenzie lives in Montgomery Alabama and is married to his lovely wife Mrs. Addie F. Mckenzie. He is the father of three children and has two grandchildren. At present, he is the senior assistant pastor of Sanctuary, Historically Cannan Hill Missionary Baptist Church under Senior Pastor Ossie T. Brown Jr. Bernard has also been a performing member of the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra for 35 years.
